To: Division 18 1. Operations Patriot Readiness; as of our last District meeting, 25% of the District have replied. Group Moriches came out better than most. Maritime Domain Awareness Program (MDA) training was held on Tuesday, 2 July at Station Shinnecock. A follow-up email will be sent out listing more of the details. 3. The Veteran's History Project; We are looking for members of the auxiliary to be interviewed and to do the interviewing. 4. Keep this TCT Training date on your calendar! You will go into REYR if this is not completed. All Crew, Coxswain, and Radio Watchstanders are required to complete this class every 5 years. By year-end, each of you must have sat through this class at least once. The date for our next class is Saturday, 19 October 2002. We will use the facilities at Group Moriches @ 0900. It is an 8-hour class. Cornell Caterers will cater lunch. 5. A tentative date for the Division COW has been set for Sunday, 8 December 2002 and will be held at the NCO club at the Air National Guard Base in West Hampton Beach. All details will be discussed at our next Division Meeting on Thursday, 1 August. 6. Uniforms; when wearing your uniforms, please make sure that your ribbons are on the correct side, shoes are shined and shirttails are tucked-in. This is only to list a few items that should be looked into. 7. A proposal has been written to address the issue of additional Divisions Meeting(s). This issue will be discussed at our next meeting. Remember to submit your AUXDATA paperwork as soon as possible, at least every 2 weeks or sooner. 10. We no longer do Safety Patrols; it is now called Homeland Security Patrols. 11. The Currency Maintenance Forms has been revised. Please use the new forms. The new form has been distributed to all Flotilla Commanders and it is also located on 1SR’s website.
