VESSEL SAFETY CHECKS

Vessel Safety Checks are free examinations of personal boats usually conducted at various
marinas and docks in the area. Boats which pass the safety inspection are provided with
a decal that can be affixed to the boat's windows. There is no record kept of any boat that
fails inspection; you simply receive a list of deficiencies that you can choose to correct
at your leisure and then schedule a re-inspection if you wish. The only purpose of the
program is to encourage safe boating.
For further information on how to have your boat examined, please contact Don Cotrone 243-7749.
